NAM CoB adopted Communique on so-called “elections” in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan

On April 4, 2020 the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) adopted Communique on the so-called “elections” held in the occupied territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan. NAM Member States did not recognize the so-called “elections” and considered them as illegitimate. They further reiterated support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan within its internationally recognized borders and to the settlement of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan on the basis of the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions.
